In 1879,  the diary Walking in the Cevennes with a donkey was published after the young writer had walked the path which links the 4 departments of Haute-Loire, Ardèche, Lozère and Gard,  at the crossroad between  Auvergne and Languedoc-Roussillon regions,  full of discoveries and surprises. A mythical trail for mountain lovers !…….

The Tour du Mont Blanc is undoubtedly the most renowned walking trail in the Alps that runs 180km (112 miles) around the  Mont Blanc, starting and finishing in Les Houches near Chamonix. This is the highest peak of Europe rising at 4810 m  (15,781 ft) and a must do for all mountain hikers.

This famous and mythical Alpine trek takes place in surroundings of outstanding beauty close to the glaciers and offers a real adventure for trekking lovers in 3 countries : France, Italy and Switzerland.
